Learn Tom While playing a tom recording on the track that this plugin lives, holding down the ‘Learn Tom’ button will train the XT-TG to the sound and transient quality of your tom.
Learn Spill While playing a tom recording on the track that this plugin lives, holding down the ‘Learn Spill’ will train the XT-TG to the sound and transient quality of your microphone ‘spill’, i.e everything that isn’t a tom.
Threshold The vertical slider in the middle controls the threshold of the gating.
Hold, Release, and Depth Controls the typical gate features like: How long to hold the gate open, how fast the gate opens, and the level of gain reduction for the material that does not pass the gate.
In the top-right corner is a momentary-bypass button. Press this button to temporarily bypass the effect. Releasing the button will re-apply the effect.
