If a track is created by one of these methods then it will automatically be shown on the Cues page:

  • Dragging a clip to the ‘+’ sign from the Clip Picker
  • Selecting a Range or Region on an existing linear track and choosing Bounce to Trigger Clip

By default, these Tracks do not show up on the Cues page:

  • Tracks from v7 (or older) sessions
  • Imported tracks
  • Tracks created from the Rec page

When you create a new track from the “Add Track/Bus” dialog, there is a checkbox to select whether the new track will appear on the Cues page:

However, in all cases it is possible to manually show or hide any Track on the Cues page.

Manually hiding and showing tracks from the Tracks list

There is a tab on the far right labeled ‘Tracks’. Select that tab to display a list of available tracks in the session.

By clicking in the “C” column, you can choose to show, or hide, a track from the Cues page. While hidden from the Cues page it might still show up in the Mix, Editing and Recording pages. The ‘V’ checkbox hides a track globally from all pages.

The “A” column, as on other lists in Mixbus, indicates the track is active in the session. Clicking the checkbox for ‘A’ will de-activate the channel, which prevents it from generating sound and using CPU resources. This can be useful when you ‘bounce’ a track: rather than delete the source track you can disable and hide the track so you can return to it later, if needed.
