Transport Control

Mixbus transport (Play, Stop, Locate, etc.) can be controlled by an external input in 3 ways:

  • MMC ( Midi Machine Control )
  • OSC ( an Ethernet network protocol )
  • JACK ( using the JACK server, if it is installed on your computer )

Mixbus’s external transport functions are largely developed by the Ardour open-source community. For more details, see the applicable chapters in the Ardour manual: http://manual.ardour.org/synchronization/overview-of-timecode-related-settings/
