Region Cue Markers can be added to a Region at the Edit Point (either the Mouse or the Playhead position) of the selected region(s).
Region Cue Markers have these properties:
- They have a name which will be displayed alongside the marker (by default, you must name a Cue Marker as soon as it is created)
- Cue Markers move with the region, so if you move or duplicate a region, the marker moves/copies with it
- Cue Markers are stored in the region’s “Source” file, which means:
- you can trim a region to hide a marker, but you can later re-expose it if you extend the region again
- if you remove a Region Cue in any Region for that source, all associated regions will also lose that Cue marker
Region Markers may be ‘promoted’ to CD Markers or global Location Markers in the main timeline. This allows you to (for example) move some song-parts (verse 1, chorus, etc) around, and then promote them to the main timeline after you’ve finished your edits.
