Listening to a MIDI track.

With MIDI tracks, it is fairly common for multiple tracks to be fed from a single MIDI keyboard or device. This adds an additional level of complexity to the task of “monitoring” the MIDI input.

Once a MIDI track is added you will find a MIDI input Enable/Disable button near the top of the channel strip. If you want MIDI to be delivered to the track, the MIDI Input button must be enabled for that track.
