  • Delete : this deletes either the selected Regions or the selected Range in the editor canvas.
  • Crop: This splits regions under the selected range, and then removes all regions outside of the selected range.
  • Split/Separate : If a “range” selection exists, the regions under the range will be split at the start and end of the range. If no selected range exists, then the regions will be split at the edit point. Learn more about the Edit Point here.

    • Separate Under: if you select a region, this will separate the regions in underlying layers, at the same start/end as this region
    • Separate Using Loop Range : this will separate the selected region on the Loop Range boundaries
    • Separate Using Punch Range : this will separate the selected Region on the Punch Range boundaries

  • Tag Last Capture : This will allow you to enter a “tag” (text string) for all of the Sources created in the most recent recording take. For example you might make a note of a “Good Take” or “Bad Take” here. You can later sort Sources by their Take name in the Editor -> Source List
  • Remove Last Capture : this deletes all the Regions and Source Files created in the most recent recording take. NOTE: this operation is destructive: it actually deletes the file and saves the disk space. So only use this option when you are sure you don’t want that take!

  • Show Automation Lane on Touch : When this is enabled, then clicking on any knob control (such as an EQ knob, compressor knob, or plugin’s knob) will immediately show the associated Automation lane in the editor for that control. This is especially convenient when dealing with a plugin with many parameters, and you don’t want to dig through the menus to find the associated automation lane.
